The scenario:

We’re in the living room and I’ve just taken her out of her Superyard XT (aka the play cage). I put her down in a standing position and sat on the couch about 2 feet away from her. She stared at me a bit and then surprised us both by taking 3 completely unassisted steps toward me.

I moved away again and she took 3 more steps. I then screamed for Derek and gleefully waited for her to do it again, saying, “C’mon, Show Daddy”. But true to her ocassionally cantankerous behaviour, she sat down and wouldn’t budge. Maybe we’ll get it on video soon.
