It’s been a while since we’ve added a news item.
In the mean time, Celeste has been growing up so fast.

She continues to be fascinated by books. She likes to bring books for Kim and I to read to her. She also enjoys going on our bookshelves and taking out our books and just flipping through the pages.

She enjoys watching her “Baby Einstein” DVDs. Kim just got her a set of “Muzzy” language DVDs which are design for toddlers to learn a second language. Kim got the Spanish version of it and has been showing it to Celeste each day. Maybe she’ll grow up bilingual.

She has recently started opening doors that are locked. She would stretch to reach the door handle and is able to turn it and push doors open. Kim found her a couple days ago inside the bathroom (which we keep locked). She was unravelling the toilet tissue roll

She likes to imitate us now. Kim and I would be watching a comedy and be laughing and Celeste would laugh too. It’s rather funny when she does that. She also likes to “brush” her teeth when Kim is brushing her teeth also. We got her a toddler toothbrush which she uses. We still need to try and get a picture of this.

We recently hired a baby sitter who comes twice a week for 3 hours each day. We haven’t left her alone with the baby sitter, but she’s around to give Kim a break so that she can get other things done. Celeste is very comfortable with the baby sitter and eventually, we’ll be able to leave them alone at home.
