Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

For us, 2002 was the year of Celeste and of firsts. We got to see her walk for the first time back in March. Celebrate her first birthday, twice…once in Miami and once in Trinidad. And hear her utter her first words…. from daddy back in July to her ever expanding vocabulary that currently includes words like “mummy”, “yes”, “no”, “shoes”, “wooh wooh” (dog), “turtle”, “Colin”, “Alex”, “what’s that??, “bubbles”, “more”, and the ever popular “stop it”.

Her favorite TV shows are Sesame Street (which she refers to simply as “street”) and Blues Clues a.k.a. “blue”. She loves to dance and sing along with the various characters as well as do all the hand signs. Her favorite computer game is “Sesame Street”.

We took the opportunity to take 3 vacations. Two trips to Trinidad and an Alaskan cruise in May, which was a wonderful experience. Being new parents, it feels as though we need a lot more vacations.

Another major change for Kim and I, is that we no longer need to wear glasses nor contact lenses. We both had LASIK surgery done in October. After 20+ years of wearing glasses, it is very liberating being able to see without them. Both our eyesights corrected to 20/20 and better.

Kim, Celeste and I would like to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
