Celeste has now become the ultimate backseat driver, giving directions to go “this way” or “no, that way”. If you turn a sharp corner she says ” Whoooaaa!!” and after awhile she insists, “Car driving too fast!”

When I first told Derek about it he said that I must have been driving too fast for a 2 yr old to notice. So, this weekend when Derek was driving I was gratified to hear from the backseat driving critic, all the driving instructions that have become a normal part of our day.
“Daddy, too fast!, Daddy, this way! Turn Daddy, Turn!”

With her vocabulary growing by leaps and bounds, she uses her communication skills to boss around her parents. Is this what we have to look forward to for the next 16 yrs?
