Brendan is now 14 months old and he’s growing up so fast. He isn’t speaking as yet, but it seems that understands quite a bit. Just last night I told him “It’s time to bathe Brendan. Go to the bathroom” and he immediately headed towards the bathroom without my having to lead him or point him in that direction. He got to the bathroom door and pressed against it. While taking his bath, I told him “Brendan, it’s time to come out” and he immediately look at me and shook his head from side-to-side to say “no”

He has no problems pointing to what he wants and making himself understood.

He has just started feeding himself with a spoon this week. He still needs to practice, but he can occasionally pick up food with the spoon and get it to his mouth. It’s a good thing Grandma Chalice is here to help with that and the mess he generates

We recently brought in a slide that Celeste had, but which we were storing in the garage. He truly enjoys playing with the slide, especially climbing up the slide part.
