We are currently winding down a 2-week vacation in Trinidad.

My parents are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in August and as a surprise, we all flew to Trinidad for a surprise vacation. My brother Colin, and sister Beverly also flew into Trinidad. The trip was planned 6 months ago, but was a complete surprise as we all showed up in Trinidad.

Beverly was the first to arrive in Trinidad on Thursday July 19th. She showed up at my parent’s home around 9am. I was sure that my parents would suspect that we would be arriving also, but they did not suspect anything. Beverly explained her trip telling them she used frequent flyer miles and decided to visit them.

We arrived around 10pm that same day. At that point, my parents were completely shocked. To avoid any more surprises, we told then that Colin would arrive the following day.

Colin and Beverly stayed for about a week each and we are staying for 2 weeks.
