As Hurricane Wilma approaches I have to wonder. My second treatment of chemotherapy has been postponed 3 times. First on Oct 10th, then Oct 17th and now Oct 24th. The first two were because of a low white blood cell count, the last is because of the approach of Hurricane Wilma. On Oct 25th we’ll try again hoping that this time my cell count is high enough to receive treatment and that Wilma has not affected electricity at the doctor’s office. One of the medicines will expire if not administered by Oct 27th causing yet another delay while we await a replacement shipment. Makes me wonder….Is Chemo for me?

UPDATE: Because of the power outages, chemo couldn’t take place on Tuesday. It has to be rescheduled yet again.
